Are You a Neuroeducator . . . Yet??
The Science of Learning is the most promising research being applied to close the teacher quality, student achievement, and the student school experience gap. The challenge for educators is how to translate this research into instructional design, including working with each individual student's academic, social, emotional, and identity development in order that they reach their full potential.
This interactive session will provide next-day applicable strategies from Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) science. It will be facilitated by the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning and the co-authors of Neuroteach: Brain Science and the Future of Education. Topics include neuroplasticity, neuromyths, memory, metacognition, feedback, assessment, engagement, and three mindsets for learning (growth, belonging, and purpose and relevance). Participants will leave with resources and transformative MBE research-informed strategies.
